On behalf of the Board of Directors, Administration, faculty and staff, I want to welcome you to the Cypress Christian School web site.  All of us at CCS welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Christian families to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders in America.  The power of a cooperative effort between home, school and the church to bring up our children with the values and beliefs found in God’s Word, the Bible, is second to none in the battle for the hearts, minds, and souls of our children. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary of ministry in northwest Houston throughout the 2007-2008 school year, we're very excited about providing a distinctly Christian education. It is our hope that your visit to our web site will give you a clear understanding of our mission and vision for partnering with Christian families to academically prepare students with a biblical worldview to take their place in the world as servants of Jesus Christ.

As you examine CCS, you will see several unique things about our school. First, our sense of family. We are here to assist families. We look to join hands with fathers and mothers in the training of their students in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Second, our desire is to provide academic excellence for all students. We offer a comprehensive academic program that we might provide excellence in education to all our students according to their God-given talents and abilities. Third, we seek excellence in fine arts and athletics. With our outstanding athletic facilities and broad fine-arts programs, CCS can afford young people the opportunity to excel. Fourth, we endeavor to instill the principles of God’s Word by our Biblical integration into our entire curriculum and pray the ministry of the Holy Spirit will engraft those principles into their hearts. We want them to learn not only how to make a living, but how to live a life that will honor the Lord. Finally, the goal is to send students into the adult world with a Christian worldview, so that they might impact their society for Christ.  Please feel free to review our Graduate Profile detailing goals for each K-12 student that attends Cypress Christian School.
