Leadership Team


The Leadership Team works together to pursue excellence in all areas of the school. The Board of Directors sets the educational and business policies of the school and the school's Head Administrator executes these policies while supervising the faculty and staff.

 
Dr. Holzman

Head of School - Dr. Glenn Holzman has several decades of administrative experience in Christian education.   Dr. Holzman and his wife Judy have two grown children.  His heart for ministry and his academic credentials (shown below) are an asset to the school.

Secondary School Principal  - Dr. Mark Lones brings eighteen years of leadership and management experience to Cypress Christian School.  He has utilized his talents to serve the Lord in schools and churches in several states.  He and his wife Pamela have three grown children.  Mark believes that “God is a God of excellence who deserves the very best we have to offer (1 Cor. 3:13).  Therefore, in all our activities we must seek to maintain the highest standards of excellence to the glory of God.”

Elementary School Principal - Cindy Cress is a native of Kansas and has been on staff at CCS since 1990.  Her love for the Lord and children of all ages combined with her education and 21 years of experience in Christian education is a tremendous asset to our school.

  • B.A. in Elementary Education and a Bible major from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, Missouri
  • Working on her Masters in Educational Administration at Prairie View A&M University.

  • Curriculum Director - Donna Stumbaugh - B.A., M.Ed., Texas Certification: Elementary Education, Learning Disabilities, Gifted and Talented and Mid-Management; over 27 years of experience in curriculum development and classroom instruction
  • Athletic Director -  Marsha Martin has built an award-winning program at CCS that includes all major sports.  She is a graduate of Lamar University, class of 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Education, double majors in Physical Education and Health Education, Mrs. Martin has taught for 16 years, just completing 9 years at CCS, with the last 7  years as AD.  Her experience also includes Youth and Recreation Ministry in churches for 10 years.  
  • Admissions Director - Vicki Moore has served the school since 1984 in various positions thus giving her a long history and a vast amount of knowledge about CCS.  Having 3 children who attended CCS, she has first hand knowledge about the admissions process and can personally testify about the excellent Christian education that CCS offers.
  • Administrative Assistant - Jean Hazel has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.  She previously taught art at an international school in Cameroon, West Africa, and she worked as a substitute teacher at Jubail Academy in Saudi Arabia.  Her long association with CCS as a parent and a substitute now serves her well as Administrative Assistant to the Head of School.
  • Business Manager - Donna Rhodes - Since coming to CCS in 1998, Mrs. Rhodes has used her vast experience and education to manage the school finances.  She received a BBA–Finance from University of Houston; has worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 9 years public accounting experience, 7 of which were auditing public schools and not-for-profit entities.  Mrs. Rhodes is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with 3 years internal audit experience with 4 years general accounting experience.
  • Development Coordinator -Lynnette Anderson has served the school since 1998 in the Development Office.  With an administrative background and as a longtime CCS parent, Mrs. Anderson uses her training, experience and love for CCS to promote the school, oversee the volunteer program, raise funds and organize events to further the ministry.
  • Donor Relations Coordinator - Jody Pollos brings years of experience in development, business, sales and training, customer service and management skills to this new Development Department position at Cypress.   As a parent of twin boys, Mrs. Pollos considers Christian education an investment in the lives of her children and their eternity.  With a strong belief in and commitment to Cypress Christian School, combined with her talents and experience, her goal is to build relationships within the school and the community.
