Football is young but strong.  In just its 5th year of existence, the program has received city and state-wide notoriety.  CCS Football is in the capable hands of Coach Jerry Hornsby.  He has taken this program to new heights in just one year.  With his experience as a player in the minor professional ranks, as well as his coaching experience in 5A powerhouses, he has turned this Warrior program into a feared and respected program. 

Warrior football is helping young men achieve their goal of playing college football.  Cypress has a respectable number of alumni that are already playing college football, and will definitely add to that number for years to come.  Furthermore, our players are invited on a yearly basis to Texas A&M and other large state schools' to an "invitiation only" junior/senior football camp to hone their skills.

The CCS Warrior football program is PPF; that is, player, parent, and fan friendly.  We present a style of play that is fun for the players, and an opportunity to play the position desired with a high-powered passing and running attack.  It is parent friendly, with weekly luncheons where game plans for the upcoming game are presented, as well as fan friendly, because it is truly exciting to watch.  There is never a dull moment!

Finally, and most importantly, we are a Christian Football team that plays for an audience of One.  It is God who has blessed these young men with this talent and to Him all that we do, we do to honor Him.  "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."  Ps. 34:1.
